FAQs
How can foreign students obtain an Educational Visa in order to attend HSP in Hawaii? HSP was designed to offer this educational opportunity throughout the independent island nations of the North and South Pacific; specifically Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea (PNG), Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Nauru, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. Students from Palau, FSM and RMI can obtain entrance into Hawaii easily due to the Compact of Free Association that exists between the U.S. and these North Pacific Island Nations. Students from the South Pacific are able to enter the U.S. and attend the High School of the Pacific on the I-20 student visa.
Can Students at HSP practice their own faith? HSP encourages students to maintain an active life of faith. In keeping with this intent, HSP provides transport on weekends to places of worship based on the family’s preference. Positive relationships between HSP’s upper administration and local ministers ensure that all faith-based needs of our students are met during their time at school away from home.
